This part-time, travel CNA opportunity in the Finger Lakes region offers meaningful resident-focused care and a supportive clinical team. Job Details Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 (Finger Lakes, New York) Setting: Long Term Care Facility / Nursing Home Employment Type: Part-Time, Travel CNA position Estimated Weekly Pay: $900-$970/week Shift: 8 Hour Nights; rotating schedule-2 shifts one week / 3 shifts the following week; every other weekend and holiday required Start Date: April 7, 2026 End Date: July 11, 2026 Duration: 14 weeks Orientation: Must be available for a full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday Qualifications / Job Requirements Active New York State Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) BLS certification (AHA or RQI) Minimum 1 year of experience in Long Term Care or equivalent CNA experience Experience providing adult and geriatric care, including ADLs and basic rehabilitative support Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills for night shift CNA work Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of licensed nursing personnel Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment; promptly respond to call lights and alarms Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery, feeding assistance, and honoring dietary preferences Assist with rehabilitative and restorative care such as range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, and safe transfers Accurately document care provided and report changes in resident status to the charge nurse Uphold residents' rights, dignity, and privacy; report concerns or refusals according to facility protocol Follow infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens Why Join Our Team Join a compassionate long-term care team in the Finger Lakes-ideal for CNAs seeking night shift or travel CNA opportunities Supportive staff culture with hands-on resident care and opportunities for professional growth Flexible part-time schedule suitable for work-life balance How to Apply: Apply now for this CNA job in Waterloo, NY.
