Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Setup Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing race cars to meet team specifications and comply with NASCAR regulations. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist team with final vehicle build including installation of brake hoses, ballast, anti-roll bars, etcSet spring pre-load and heights using Accu-Force Spring Compressor Operate Romer Arms, GOM Scanners, and other scanning / metrology equipment Adjust suspension component location and shim kits to achieve kinematic parametersTorque and index all suspension component fasteners per provided specification sheetInput pertinent electronic data into a proprietary databaseClean and maintain coil-over shock assembliesOther duties as assigned by ManagerRequired Skills, Experience and AbilitiesTo perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:3+ years of experience in a top-tier motorsports programHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) requiredExperience in operating portable coordinate measurement arms required; Romer Arm preferredExperience in general race car setup procedures and techniques Experience reading build sheets and general knowledge of NASCAR rules & tolerancesExperienced in using basic hand tools, power tools, and operating shop equipmentExperience with damper re-valving is highly desirableAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekendsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSkills to work independently and in group settingsAbility to operate well under pressure to meet tight deadlinesAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyLegally eligible to live and work in the United States Physical DemandsLift/CarryStand F10 lbs or less F Walk F11-20 lbs F Sit C 21-50 lbs F Manually Manipulate F51-100 lbs O Reach Outward F Over 100 lbs O Reach Above Shoulder O Push/PullClimb O12 lbs or less FCrawl O 13-25 lbs F Squat or Kneel O 26-40 lbs C Bend O 41-100 lbs O N (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position.
