JOB ID 10997: ETL Engineer

CEPTUA IT INC, a Houston, TX based IT Staffing and Recruiting Firm has multiple openings. Job duties include: * Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with focus on ETL and Business Intelligence. * Perform data analysis to source and target RDBMS tables information to implement design of ETL mappings, transformations, workflows, scripts, and commands to meet business requirements. * Provide ETL design, architecture, technology recommendations, and transition strategies that support the development and implementation of the enterprise data warehouse and associated data marts. * Design and create logical/physical data models based on requirements. Plan and architect solutions. * Develop ETL process with regard to design, development, testing, and migration to production environments. * Write and execute ETL test scripts. Extract data from sources including Oracle, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2 Mainframe, flat files, and XML files. * Transform data and load into multiple targets like MS SQL Server and Oracle database and create flat files and XML files. * Create high-level documents and low-level documents as per business requirements. * Design and develop Business Intelligence reports based on ad-hoc and functional requirements. Participate in ETL and Business Intelligence code reviews and knowledge transfers. * Provide post-implementation support and resolve critical and high-priority tickets as per the SLAs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Engg, IT, or related with at least 60 months of experience. Salary ranges between $115,877.00 to $120,000.00/year.
