Full-time Groundskeeper

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, in conjunction with the Director, Facilities & Engineering, maintains and cares for the hospital grounds and adjoining parking lots, by performing listed duties, in order to ensure patient, visitor and employee safety as well as a clean and attractive campus.These duties are to be performed in accordance with the mission, values and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and guests.Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Collect trash and debris from entire hospital campus, including parking lots and surrounding sidewalks and lawns.2. Sweep and clear debris from drive through entrances on the east and west side of hospital.3. Empty trash receptacles as necessary.4. Cut grass, maintain lawns, trim around trees, walkways and markers5. Safely operate all motorized equipment, including lawn mower, edger/weed cutter and leaf blower.Additional Duties and Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESHigh school diploma or GED equivalentEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMust have an ability to lift heavy objects that may exceed 50 lbs.
