Position Type: Substitute/Substitute TeacherLocations Available: Jacksonville North Pulaski School District (Horizons) Conway School District SCCSD (River Valley Campus)As needed for the 2025-2026 school yearSUMMARY: A substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher/campus supervisorFollowing campus procedures and protocolsOverseeing students outside of the classroom, including hallways and the cafeteriaTakes precautions to ensure staff/student safetyDoes not leave students unsupervisedTaking attendance and documenting daily notes QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree preferredDependableMust be detail-oriented and able to follow written and verbal directionAbility to effectively manage time and responsibilitiesAbility to handle stressful situationsAbility to effectively present information and respond to students, parents and staffGenuine care for studentsAbility to be professional in appearance, attitude and demeanor PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting (up to 30lbs)Regular contact with other staff members and building administratorsVocal communication to studentsVisual acuity is required for preparing /assisting with work and observing students as well as general surroundingsDaily rate of pay:$100, Non-Certified $130, Certified (will need to provide active teaching license)For questions regarding this position, please email: rafeal.marlow@
