Job Description General Liability Claims AdjusterJob SummarySeeking an experienced and dedicated General Liability Claims Adjuster to join a team. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of claims, primarily litigated, for school districts. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional, family-oriented environment with a strong benefits package and a supportive team. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office per week.Compensation PackageSalary Range: $96,000 - $127,000 annuallyCompetitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.ResponsibilitiesHandle a caseload of 100-120 claims, with 80% being litigated cases.Manage claims under the Government Tort Claims Act for over 110 school district members across California.Investigate and resolve complex claims, including child sexual assault (50% of caseload), bullying, fighting, employment discrimination, and auto accidents.Conduct coverage investigations and draft Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters.Handle large loss claims and manage litigation processes effectively.Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies and procedures.Qualifications/RequirementsExperience:Minimum of 5 years handling a litigated claims desk.Proven experience managing complex claims and litigation processes.Familiarity with public entity claims and the California Government Claims Act is a plus.Skills:Strong presentation and communication skills.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.Proficiency in coverage investigations and drafting ROR letters.Personal Attributes:Professional demeanor and appearance.Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Disclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role, and it is subject to modification at the employer's discretion. #LI-BC1
