System Verification Engineer

Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE System Verification Engineer in Greensboro, NC.This assignment is anticipated to be a 6 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.ResponsibilitiesManual and automated testing of vehicle dynamics ECUInteracting with dSPACE Hardware-In-Loop simulator using ControlDesk, AutomationDeskDevelop test plan, test cases and automation test scriptsInterface with HIL maintenance team over hardware troubleshooting and plant model updatesPrepare test reports and review status with software team and other stake holdersInitiate and participate in meetings related to the software validationBe part of the realization and commissioning of new HIL simulator or upgradation of existing oneBe part of the Global verification communityUnderstand existing and future requirements on test equipment and needed methodsQualificationsBS in Electronics, mechatronics or Electrical Engineering5+ years of experience within Automotive ECU verificationExperience in HIL verification (preferably dSPACE)Experience in test automation using Python.Experience in MATLAB Simulink HIL model developmentExperience with CANalyzer/CANOE toolsExperience in using version control toolsGood Knowledge of Software Release ManagementGood knowledge of vehicle network architecture, communication & diagnostic protocols (CAN, J1939, LIN, Ethernet)Experience in ECU Test ToolAgile development and continuous integration awarenessExperience in Jenkins will be added valueKnowledge in Vehicle Dynamics will be added valueRequired Skills : *5+ years of experience within Automotive ECU verification *Experience in HIL verification *Experience in test automation using Python Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check : Yes Drug Screen : Yes Notes :Selling points for candidate :Project Verification Info :The information provided below is for Apex Systems AV use only and is not to be distributed publicly, or to any third party.
