Maintenance Worker (Transfer Site)

DescriptionCOUNTY OF WARREN MAINTENANCE WORKERThis part-time position is responsible for monitoring activities at solid waste disposal sites at the Bentonville Transfer Station and at other compactor sites throughout the County. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating a trash compactor; maintaining appearance of collection site to include mowing and/or weed eating; assisting residents with disposal; cleaning of transfer station floor; assisting with tarping waste trailers; operation of rubber tire loader and tractor; and directing public to proper location for disposal of materials. CDL not required, but knowledge of tractor and trailer operations preferred. Hourly rate as Maintenance Worker is $17.10. Position requires weekends, evenings, and holidays; up to 29 hours per week.
