Overview Baptist Memorial Health System seeks to fill an internship position to support its revenue operations in the area of cash posting. Baptist has operations in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. The position would be located in Memphis, TN. Responsibilities Analyzing and researching patient accounts to ensure proper cash postings Reviewing unallocated cash to determine patterns and causes Participating in projects involving gathering data to review trends and identify process improvements Completing assigned goals Other Information Education Minimum: Be working towards a Degree in Accounting/ Business with substantial coursework completed or Graduate Student with Accounting Degree. Some upper division coursework Special Skills Minimum: Strong analytical skills. Good communication skills. Detail Oriented with good time management skills. Interested in working for a mission based community organization. Training Minimum: Proficient in spreadsheets and other software/technology solutions
