Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the Dearborn office. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Dearborn, MI. Lead wind tunnel and road testing to calibrate the climate control system in support of program milestones. Deliver globally consistent calibrations that meet climate attribute performance objectives. Lead suppliers of the Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) and Heat Pump Valve Control Module (HPvCM) to define and manage calibrations. Collaborate cross functionally with Electrical, Powertrain, and R&A organizations to implement and calibrate key parameters of the strategy. Support attribute engineers in analysis, review, and signoff of individual calibrations which require wind tunnel testing and data acquisition. Define Design Verification Methods and plan testing to support calibration development. Support new climate control strategies in support of our company's electrification objectives. Support new features and strategies with a cross-functional team to meet new Human Centric Design needs, and/or optimize energy efficiency of the system. Domestic Travel Required up to 20%.
