We are seeking an Behavior and Academic Coach to support students within the Alternative Learning Center (ALC) in West Toledo. Under direction of the classroom teacher, the ALC Behavioral and Academic Coach provides primary support to the classroom teacher in reinforcing and monitoring the daily educational program and behavior plans for students with serious emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, and other varied disabilities.Requirements High School Diploma required - Associate Degree or higher preferred preferred (pay is contingent on education and experience) Ohio Department of Education Substitute Educational Aide Permit ($25), or higher license or ability to obtain license Experience working with students with disabilities preferred Certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) required and will be provided Experience with Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) preferred Details Long term-school year 25-30 hours per week Enrollment in School/State retirement System Hourly rate: $15.00 - $18.00 depending on experience
