Candidates must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field and at least ten years' experience. Typical Responsibilities Include:Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community Maintain excellent client relations Conduct field inspections Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity Mentor junior staff Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricingResponsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budgetManage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations Provide design/technical expertise to projectCoordinate the design function with various team members on the projectEnsure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasksGenerate additional sales through business development activitiesSupervise project review (QA/QC) meetingsAssist with project reports and technical presentationsAttend client, staff and project meetingsEstimate fees, review project plans and specificationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:High school diploma Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience10+ years of related engineering or construction management experienceSkills:This position should have strong people and team building skills in order to effectively communicate with clients and other staff.
