Part-time Activities Assistant

The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing - DAILY PAY IS NOW HERE! PICK YOUR PAY DAYS! The Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is now seeking an Activity Assistant to encourage fun and creativity with our residents! The Activity Assistant works with the Activity Director to provide group and individual activies for residents in our nursing home. Duties will involve personal contact with  residents and a varied work schedule that will include every other weekend and some holidays. This is a union position.  Employee must have ability to interact with a wide range of residents, including those living with dementia and / or mental health challenges. Duties Set-up, lead, lead, and clean up froup activities Assist residents to and from group activities. Provide individual visits to residents who choose not to attend group events. Document resident participation and communicate resident needs to team members.
