SSES Field TechnicianLocation: Based out of Alexandria, VA with most work located in the Mid-Atlantic.Pay: Negotiable based on experience; $70k+/yr.Description:We're looking for a hands-on SSES Field Technician to support sanitary sewer evaluation studies including CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) for large multi-family residential buildings, campuses, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities and federal properties.In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and documenting defects in sewer, vent and storm drain lines in multifamily housing (condos & apartments) and piping in industrial facilities utilizing robotic CCTV cameras in support of cured in place pipe lining projects.Qualifications:Two-Year degree or equivalent vocational trainingWillingness to travel; both local and overnight as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with or willingness to learn specialized CCTV equipment Responsibilities:Inspect and document the condition of existing sanitary risers, vents and storm drain lines as well as piping in industrial facilities with robotic CCTV cameraUtilize PC to capture pipe inspection imagesCreating detailed, accurate reports from the field data collected to submit to clientMaintain detailed records and files of inspectionsPlanning and executing projects in an efficient manager without direct oversightOperating and maintaining CCTV equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and as-builtsBenefits:IRA with 3% annual IRA employer matchAfter 60 days of employment, Group health insurance is available, company pays half of employee health insurance premium, does not include dependents.Dental and vision are offered at the employee's expense.3 weeks paid time off9 paid HolidaysBusiness driving mileage paid; company vehicle provided as necessaryCompany LaptopCompany Cell phoneContinuing education reimbursement for accredited programsAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, driver's license check, and background check.
