Conduct Site Inspections and Safety Training: Regularly inspect construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide ongoing safety training and education to employees and contractors. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns and promote a safe working environment. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identify causes, and implement corrective actions. Safety Culture Leadership: Foster a culture of safety through innovative approaches and employee engagement. Safety Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and prepare reports for management review.Job Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in construction or service industry EH&S.4-6 years of management/ leadership experience.Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field. Skills/ Knowledge Requirements: Incident Rate: Tracking the number of recordable incidents per 100 full time workers including both lost time incidents and non-lost time incidents. Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR):Measure the number of lost time injuries per million hours worked. Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR):Calculate the total number of recordable incidents per 200,000 hours worked. Incident Rate:Track the number of recordable incidents per 100 full-time workers, Including both lost time and non-lost time incidents. Near Miss Reporting Rate:Monitor the number of near miss incidents reported. A higher rate can indicate a proactive safety culture. Safety Training Completion Rate:Track the percentage of employees who have completed required safety training programs. Safety Audit Scores: Evaluate the results of regular safety audits and inspections. Corrective Action Closure Rate:Measure the percentage of identified safety issues that can be resolved within a specific timeframe. Employee Safety Engagement:Assess employee participation in safety meetings, training sessions, and safety committees. Compliance Rate: Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards. Safety Culture Index: Use surveys and feedback to gauge the overall safety culture within the organization Hazard Identification and Control: Track the number of hazards identified and the effectiveness of control measures implemented. Program Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly review and improve safety programs based on performance data and feedback. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to think creatively and implement innovative safety solutions In-depth knowledge of OSHA/OHSA regulations and construction safety standards. Be proactive and engaging with the ability to inspire and motivate others to prioritize safety.
