Provide high quality professional service to Agents and Companies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.1. Underwrite new and renewal business.2. Meet or exceed production goals as assigned by TAPCO.3. Make approvals and disapprovals of endorsement quote requests according to internal and Company guidelines.4. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.5. Market TAPCO products and services to clients.6. Instruct support staff on the handling of cancellation and non-renewal notices according company requirements.7. Review inspection reports and compare to the conditions that were represented to us at the time of quoting and binding and take appropriate or needed actions8. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Licensed in corresponding areas of insurance or willing to obtain appropriate licensures upon hire2. Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies3. Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated4. Ability to recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate into strategies5. Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating6. Ability to use company automation to include Windows, Word, Excel, TAPSYS7. Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies8. Ability to exercise discretion in making decisions9. Leadership and team playing skills10. Ability to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry11. Good written and verbal skills12. Good telephone communication skills and phone etiquette13. Ability to maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of the company14. Ability to work extended hours when necessaryPreferred Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation2.
