Description The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. Job Summary * The Spray Applicator measures, mixes, and applies various pesticides and fertilizers to assigned areas. Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate spray equipment * Measure mixing agents to create necessary sprays for application * Apply various pesticides and fertilizers to maintain areas Education and Experience: * Experience with chemical or spray applications * Must work under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent and Agronomic Technician * Maintain a valid Driver's License * Strong attention to detail * Operate efficiently and safely at all times * Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred * Ability to perform other cultural applications on a golf course as needed - assist with aerifications, applying seed to designated areas, sand topdressing applications Physical Demands/Requirements: * Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds * Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night * Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping Work Environment: * Work in/or about situations near direct automotive traffic * Work near or about natural bodies of water * Ability to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit * Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
