Sterile Processing Technician for Veterinary Surgery HospitalWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our surgical services by ensuring instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, organized, and ready for use.Position OverviewThe Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments throughout the day, ensuring all instruments needed for daily procedures are turned around efficiently and in a timely manner. This role also maintains organization of the instrument counter and prepares/pulls instruments for the following day's surgeries.Key ResponsibilitiesClean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocolsEnsure timely turnaround of instruments needed for same-day proceduresMaintain organization and cleanliness of the surgical instrument areaPull and prepare instruments for next-day surgical casesMonitor sterilization equipment and report any issues promptlyMaintain compliance with hospital safety and infection control standardsSchedule4 (10hr days) between the hours 10 am and 8pm Monday - Friday; in most cases, it would be Tuesday-Friday 10a-8p unless there is a holiday during the week.Ideal CandidateHighly motivated and dependablePunctual with a strong work ethicAble to work independently and efficientlyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environmentIf you are someone who takes pride in precision, organization, and supporting high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.Besides a competitive salary (based on experience); our benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, personal time & holidays, scrub allowance, 401k, CE allowance and more.
