Trading Support Analyst - Banking Markets

Role: Trading Support Analyst - Banking Markets Location: Chicago, IL (trading floor a minimum of four days per week) Contract F2F InterviewWe are seeking a Trading Support Analyst to support brokerage trading applications in a fast-paced Banking Markets environment. Core responsibilities include back end system analysis on top of front office trading support and analysis. This role partners with a global production support team to provide day-to-day operational support for mission-critical trading platforms. Role also includes some development work following DevOps model.Key Responsibilities:Provide production support for brokerage trading applications in a high-pressure trading environment Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, escalating as required Partner with business users to resolve issues in compliance with IT and business control standards Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Produce operational metrics, audit support, and application status reporting Maintain disaster recovery documentation and participate in DR exercises Collaborate with technology, business, compliance, audit, and vendor teams Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends, to manage high-severity incidents end to endRequired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in financial services or capital markets 2-3 years of experience with Azure Platform, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub/Jenkins etc. Advanced SQL expertise (Oracle, MS SQL, or Sybase) Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Perl, PowerShell) Working knowledge of infrastructure components. Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently in a trading environment
