Please send your updated Word or PDF format resume to Beth at bsprague@ #LI-BS1 Designer position supports simple electrical designs and also designs motor schematics, motor controls, conduit/cable systems to electric motors & other devices, and electric heat trace systems, and lighting systems, grounding systems for foundations, equipment, and steel structures. Energy, industrial or chemical discipline experience required Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Manage and maintain the Project Documentation * Serve as Project Lead and/or Discipline Lead for single and multi-discipline projects by estimating work hours, developing scope of work, checking drawings, completing quality processes, providing monthly discipline updates, and attending project meetings. * Interact with clients to convey project design and identify scope changes. * Work collaboratively with other departments and suppliers Education, Experience and Skills The successful candidate will possess the following: * Associate degree in a technical discipline or related experience required. * 1-10 years of drafting experience. * AutoCAD and Revit proficiency * Working knowledge of National Electric Codes, reference documents and guides. * Knowledge of power distribution (480V - 12kV, lighting, grounding, motor controls, and heat tracing). * Electrical design experience in energy, chemical or industrial experience required. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
