Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain strong internal controls.Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and financial decision-making.Lead initiatives to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.Supervise and mentor accounting staff to maintain high performance and accuracy. Requirements: Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of financial regulations, internal controls, and reporting standards.Proficiency in ERP systems and financial data analysis tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.Experience in the aerospace industry is a strong advantage.Advanced knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.Capable of working collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
