Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.What You Will Be Doing: The Senior Network Engineer is a key member of the IS&T infrastructure team, responsible for architecting and managing enterprise-level network systems. This role involves leading network design initiatives, troubleshooting advanced issues, and ensuring the security and reliability of all network operations. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Director of IS&T at our Everett, WA office.Architect and deploy LAN/WAN, VPN, and cloud-based network solutions to support business needsMonitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement enhancements to improve speed and reliabilityConfigure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls to safeguard network assetsResolve escalated network issues and provide Tier 3 support for complex problemsMaintain detailed network diagrams, configuration records, and performance reportsLead network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other IT systemsWork closely with system administrators, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to ensure seamless operationsTrain and mentor junior network engineers and contribute to team developmentRequired Skills: 8+ years of network engineering experienceDeep knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), network hardware (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with network security tools and protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and NAC systemsStrong problem-solving abilities and capacity planning experienceCCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred#LI-Onsite BenefitsOur total compensation package includes benefits, including but not limited to:• Medical, Dental, and Vision plans for employees and their families • 31 Days of PTO (21 vacation days and 10 sick days) • 10 Paid holidays, plus company-wide winter break • Up to 5% employer 401(k) match • Short term disability, long term disability, and life insurance • Paid parental leave and support (up to 16 weeks) • Annual wellness stipendHelion is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
