The Maintenance Supervisor, Welder Repair is responsible for directing, coaching, and leading all resistance welding activities within the Assembly area. This position will supervise Weld Repairmen (electrical skilled trades), Pipefitters, Welders, and Die-makers. Support and manage through others, on production activities, quality requirements, professional and preventative maintenance, continuous improvement measures, and Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) initiatives. Assist in team building, planning, prioritizing work, and analyze root causes to solve problems. Actively drive the team's SIS processes.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or high school diploma / GED and 3 years of experience in robotics, strategic schematics and PLC logicAbility to work any shift and work overtime as requiredMicrosoft Office skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related technical fieldJourneyman status in welder equipment repairEducation and training on resistance welding equipment, robots, and programmable controllersPrior experience in an advanced stamping/assembly facilityStrong electrical/mechanical aptitude (resistance welding equipment, weld controllers, WTC /Bosch/Square D and hydraulic circuitry)Supervisory experience in a union environment
