This role involves translating design concepts into precise, production-ready documentation using CAD and BIM software, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and efficiency in execution.Anticipate $60K-$70K+, based on experienceFull suite of benefits: Health insurance, 401K, PTO/HolidaysOffice based position, M-FKey Responsibilities:Develop detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints for production based on provided designs and specifications.Collaborate with engineers and project teams to incorporate changes, resolve discrepancies, and ensure drawings meet production requirements.Use computer-assisted drafting (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools to create layouts, including dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.Calculate material requirements, equipment needs, and production methods to support efficient manufacturing.Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.Assist in site assessments or project reviews as needed to inform drafting work.Qualifications and Skills:Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.Proficiency in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar tools.2-5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.Strong attention to detail, mathematical skills, and understanding of technical specifications.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and manage multiple projects.Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and materials relevant to production processes.EEO
