As a SAFe Scrum Master / Digital Agility Coach supporting a premier Randstad client in Washington, DC, you will serve as a high-impact servant leader and catalyst for digital transformation. You will guide an Agile Team within an Agile Release Train (ART), fostering an environment of high performance, self-management, and relentless improvement. By leveraging your expertise in SAFe 6.0 and lean-agile principles, you will dismantle impediments, facilitate critical ceremonies, and mentor team members toward higher maturity, ensuring the predictable delivery of high-value digital solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Coaching: Guide teams toward self-organization and T-shaped skill development; foster a culture of transparency, trust, and continuous learning. SAFe Facilitation: Lead essential Iteration events (Planning, Sync, Review, Retrospectives) and prepare the team for successful participation in PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt (I&A) events. Flow Optimization: Establish and manage team Kanban boards to visualize work, identify bottlenecks, and utilize OKRs and flow metrics to drive performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners to maximize solution value and bridge communication between the team and external stakeholders. Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve conflicts and technical hurdles, persuading rather than using authority to drive outcomes. ART Alignment: Work within the ART cadence to manage dependencies, support Release on Demand, and ensure integrated learning cycles. Enterprise Advocacy: Participate in Communities of Practice (CoPs) and collaborate with SAFe Practice Consultants (SPCs) to support broader agile adoption across the organization. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Team Coach within a large-scale enterprise environment. Certification: Required: Active SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master (SSM) certification. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of Jira Software, Confluence, FigJam, Jira Align, and AgilityInsights. Framework Knowledge: Deep expertise in Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Built-in Quality, BDD, and automated testing artifacts. Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of professional experience and education. Communication: Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence without formal authority. Preferred Credentials: Advanced certifications such as SAFe SASM, SPC, RTE, or ICAgile are highly desirable.
