Brand new five bay shop addition dedicated to heavy truck and diesel repair.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on heavy-duty trucks and diesel vehicles.Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on heavy trucks to ensure optimal performance.Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and malfunctions.Work closely with service advisors and team members to provide accurate estimates and repair timelines.Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inspections performed.Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while servicing vehicles.RequirementsProven experience as an Automotive Service Technician specializing in heavy truck and diesel engines.Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and own transportation to and from work.Michigan state certification or equivalent preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.BenefitsCompetitive salary range from $75,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year.Comprehensive health insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision.Paid time off and holiday pay.Retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Employee discounts on vehicle services and purchases.About the CompanyBob Maxey Ford is a trusted name in the automotive industry with deep roots in Detroit, MI.
