JOB OVERVIEW This position is responsible for handling the logistics of aviation parts, ensuring parts are properly inspected, documented, and shipped according to aviation regulations. Responsibilities: Prepares outgoing parts for shipment by accurately labeling, packaging, and crating them in compliance with company, customer and regulatory standards. Works closely with the supply chain team to coordinate materials and vendor locations. Verifies and completes all required shipping documentation, including packing slips, Bill of landing, and shipping labels. May also document nonconforming materials when necessary. Uploads all required documentation and photos into quantum to ensure accurate, real time tracking of materials. May operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and load materials. Coordinates with freight carriers and internal teams to schedule shipment and resolve issues related to damaged, delayed or missing items. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentAbility to manage challenging situations at client sites with composure and efficiency.Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods of timeClimb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shiftMust be legally authorized to work in the U.SPreferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Quantum Forklift CertificationAttention to detail to detect errors and ensure quality in all shipments. Self-directed, motivated with limited supervision, solid decision making, and analytical skills. Adaptable, flexible, and detail oriented. Job Demands: Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance.
