Happy Camper is a fast-paced establishment with great pizza and ambience! We are a fun place to work and a great place to start a new career.A busser will be in charge of table maintenance in their section on the main floor, the patio or designated service area. Filling waters, clearing plates and silverware, and resetting tables after completion of meals are the main essentials of the job.Essential Functions:Bring waters to each table when the guest is seated and refill as neededClear plates and silverware after appetizers and restock the table with new plates and silverware after each course as needed or requested by the guest or serverAssist the Server throughout the course of the meal in any way necessary to ensure a positive Guest experienceFrequently take bus bins to the dish station and unload the bin in an organized and sanitary manner for the dishwasherRestock plates and glassware at the Server stations throughout the shiftClean, sanitize, and restock each table upon completion of the Guest's mealClean and sweep the booths, chairs, and floor of each table upon completion of the Guest's mealMaintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areasRestock ice bins frequently throughout the shiftAssist the restocking and replenishment of restaurant inventory and suppliesHelp run food to tables using seat numbersAssist in light kitchen functions such as folding pizza boxes and stocking service utensils like spatulas, tongs and spoonsOther Functions:Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorComply with health and food safety standards, restocking items and cleaningProvide great Guest service, and following Happy Camper policies and guest standardsPhysical Functions:Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as neededMust be able to exert well-paced and frequent mobility for periods of up to 8 hours or as neededBe able to lift up to 20 pounds frequentlyMust be able to climb and descend stairs frequentlyWill frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carryWork in both warm and cool environmentsHigh levels of noise from music, guests and employee trafficMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfishCertificationsFood Handlers CertificationCompensation DetailsCompensation: $12.62 hourly, plus tips.Benefits:Get Paid $ to Refer your Friends*50% dining discounts during shift25% dining discounts at other Happy Hospitality locationsFlexible schedules in a fun, family friendly, team environmentMedical, Dental and Vision Options**Paid time off – vacation and sick**Free Uniform (Up to two branded T-Shirts)  **Eligibility based off of time in position and average hours worked*Referred Employees Must Be in Good StandingDepartment: Front of HouseReports to: General ManagerStatus: Variable HourFLSA Code: Non-exemptLocation: Chicago Happy Camper is an equal opportunity employer.
