Materials Technician - Hinsdale Surgery Center

Hinsdale Surgical Center is seeking a Materials Technician with ASC experience to assist the Materials Manager. Part Time 2 days a week - Wednesdays & Fridays 8-4:30 CSTDuties, Responsibilities & Competencies:Receiving and unpacking supply deliveries.Responsible for checking accuracy of deliveries and matching packing slips to accounting documentation. Responsible for monitoring inventory par levels.Prepares goods for return and responsible for shipment of all goods.Track equipment and supplies used on surgical cases.Assist Materials Manager as required.Required:High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).Minimum 2 years' experience in medical materials management / purchasing.Significant computer experience to manage multiple computer systems proficiently.Preferred:ASC experience.Background in Inventory ControlExperience in shipping and receivingStrong Computer competencies working with Microsoft Office and Excel.
