Job Description

The RE/MAX, LLC Enterprise Support Department seeks a highly motivated and experienced Desktop Engineer II to support, configure, and administer critical systems and applications for our staff. The role will require you to maintain, establish, and promote excellent working relationships between your team, customers, and management. Responsibilities include reviewing, prioritizing, and ensuring closure of support tickets through the service desk application. You will be part of a team that develops and administers a workstation strategy that includes technical standards, process automation, and performance analysis. Essential Duties:Deliver advanced and professional technical troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions for corporate customersTroubleshoot, resolve, and document end-user help requests for desktops, laptops, and printersResponsible for anti-virus software management, threat assessment, and remediationImplement and administer security audits and vulnerability scanningConfigure and manage user accounts in Active Directory and ExchangeTest, plan, and deploy software and OS updatesBuild and perform system images and application packages for macOS and Windows systemsDesign, engineer, and deploy new workstation solutions and enhancementsGauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improvementsCreate and maintain documentation as it relates to workstation architectureUpdate requests in the ticket system to include customer contact information, work logs, and knowledge baseResearch software and system productsOther duties and projects as assignedQualifications and Skills:3+ years of relevant work experience in a Tier 2 desktop support role3+ years of advanced End-User Device Management and Troubleshooting3+ years of experience in managing macOS3+ years of experience in managing Windows OS3+ years of JAMF experienceExperience troubleshooting standard hardware issues and running diagnosticsExperience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining peripheralsWorking experience with standard IT Security practices such as virus remediation, phishing, and exposure to different Firewall systemsProven experience with workstation system planning, security principles, and general software management best practicesProven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of computing systems, applications, and related productsDevelop and improve processes for repeatable implementation, customizations, and/or maintenance around hardware maintenanceAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentSolid project management skillsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional) / ACMT (Apple Certified Mac Technician) PreferredWhy Join RE/MAX?As a leader in the real estate industry, RE/MAX is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for its agents, franchisees, and customers. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below.
