Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer drives the evaluation, design, and execution of engineeredsolutions that improve production performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. This roleindependently owns mechanical design projects from concept through commissioning andpartners cross-functionally to optimize manufacturing methods, equipment capabilities, andoperational performance.RequirementsOwn mechanical design projects from concept through commissioningDevelop 3D models, layouts, and fabrication drawings using Autodesk Inventor.Design custom equipment, tooling, and process improvementsPerform engineering calculations (stress, flow, pressure drop, performance analysis)Lead vendor selection, parts sourcing, and equipment procurementCommission and validate equipment performance on the production floorCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, FSQ, product management andQualificationsBS in Mechanical Engineering or related field3 + years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (SolidWorks acceptable equivalent)Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on understanding of fabrication and machine designDemonstrated ability to independently manage and execute projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in food processing or packaging equipment preferredSalary Description $90,000.00 to $130,000.00
