Accounting & Office Administrator (AR/AP) Location: NE Portland Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Employment Type: Full Time Pay Range: DOE Position Overview Our client, a well-established recycling center, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting & Office Administrator to support daily financial operations and general office functions. This position reports directly to the CFO and plays a key role in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and overall administrative support. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, payment posting, and customer account follow-up Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payment processing, and recordkeeping Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Assist with data entry, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting Provide general office support, including filing, document management, and correspondence Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal staff Support the CFO with administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed Required Qualifications Proven experience using QuickBooks (AR/AP required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic understanding of accounting principles Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role Experience in manufacturing, recycling, logistics, or industrial environments Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership Work Environment Office-based position within a recycling center operation Professional, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment Why This Role Direct reporting relationship to the CFO Stable, essential-industry business Opportunity to be a key support role within a growing organization #zr
