Job Title: Experienced Parts CounterDepartment: Parts DepartmentLocation: Aventura CJDRPosition Type: Full TimeReports To: Parts Manager or Parts SupervisorJob Summary:The Experienced Parts Counter is a role that demands a high level of expertise andexperience in the procurement and distribution of automotive, industrial, or equipmentparts. This individual is responsible for providing advanced technical support tocustomers, managing inventory systems, and helping to streamline departmentoperations. The Experienced Parts Counter should have a strong background in partsmanagement, a deep knowledge of parts, and exceptional problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Service:• Provide advanced technical assistance and guidance to customers,including helping them troubleshoot complex issues.• Handle escalated customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely andeffective resolutions.2. Parts Identification:• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of parts, their functions, compatibility,and their applications across a wide range of systems or equipment.• Assist less experienced parts personnel in identifying and sourcing parts.• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new parts introductions.3. Inventory Management:• Perpetual Bin Counts for Inventory Accuracy.• Lead or contribute to inventory audits and reconciliation processes.4. Sales and Billing:• Handle complex sales transactions, including large orders and high-valueitems.• Negotiate with suppliers and customers for favorable terms and pricing.5. Technical Support:• Collaborate closely with technicians and mechanics on advancedtechnical issues and solutions.6. Documentation and Records:• Ensure all records, reports, and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.• Lead or participate in creating and implementing improvements to partsmanagement systems.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training is aplus.• Substantial experience in a similar parts counter or automotive/equipment partssales role.• In-depth knowledge of automotive, industrial, or equipment parts, including abroad range of applications.• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.• Proficiency in using advanced computer systems and software for complexinventory management and order processing.• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage complexinventory systems.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle high-pressuresituations effectively.• Proficiency in negotiating with suppliers and customers.• A valid driver's license may be required for delivering parts if applicable.Company Culture:Fast Pace environment.
