5G RF Optimization Engineer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. * Strong understanding of wireless communication systems, RF propagation, and cellular network architecture. * Experience with 5G RAN planning and optimization, including site surveys, capacity planning, and interference management. * Proficiency in network performance analysis tools and optimization techniques. * Familiarity with radio planning tools such as Atoll, Planet, or Asset. * Experience working with Agile methodology, creating features and stories, and collaborating with cross functional teams. Skills * *RF Optimization*: Experience with RF optimization tools and techniques, including xLPT and RTT. * *Network Planning*: Knowledge of network planning principles, including capacity planning and interference management. * *Troubleshooting*: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve network issues. * *Communication*: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * *Agile Methodology*: Experience working with Agile principles, creating features and stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Tools and Technologies * *Radio Planning Tools*: Atoll, Planet, Asset. * *Network Performance Analysis Tools*: Various tools, including those from major vendors such as Ericsson and Nokia. * *xLPT and RTT*: Experience with xLPT and RTT tools and techniques. * *Agile Project Management Tools*: Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar tools. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct site surveys and design the radio access network (RAN) for 5G networks. * Perform RF propagation analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance. * Configure and optimize base station parameters such as power, antenna tilt, and frequency allocation. * Manage and mitigate RF interference and troubleshoot network issues. * Analyze network performance data and develop optimization strategies to improve network quality and user experience. * Work with Agile teams to create features and stories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. * Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with Agile principles Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 a year #LI-DM1
