Revenue Accounting Coordinator - Contract

As a Revenue Accounting Coordinator, this contract role is essential in supporting revenue-related transactions by investigating refunds discrepancies, processing refunds, and ensuring accurate data entry of cash movements related to chargebacks. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, this position ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations contributing to the seamless processing of revenue accounting functions.Your ImpactSupport the Revenue Accounting team with day-to-day processing of refunds, chargebacks, claims, and commissions.Assist team members with backlog management during high-volume periods.Process refunds and investigate failed or rejected refund transactions.Assist with commission and group commission reconciliation and processing.Prepare and compile exception reports for review and analysis by the IT department.Coordinate with IT and internal teams to escalate and resolve transaction issues.Participate in system testing, validation, and process improvements when required.Accurately record, monitor, and reconcile cash movements related to chargebacks.Assist with vendor card creation and support claims review, documentation, and follow-up as needed.Perform ad hoc tasks and provide coverage across functions as assigned.Your Journey so farFluency in English (written and verbal).Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficient computer, technical and troubleshooting skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc).Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Comfortable working in transactional finance environments with high volumes.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Your EssentialsUS Passport or US Permanent ResidentMSC Cruises is an E-Verify employerOur commitmentWe are committed to building a future that values diverse perspectives, embraces the world beyond borders, and fosters an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
