Keltia Design Inc. is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design & CAD Training, along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace industry in WA state, around the US, and Canada. We have been in business for over 18 years.Keltia is seeking applicants for a Machinist - CNC horizontal mill role. This is a second shift position.ResponsibilitiesOperating manufacturing machines, such as a CNC lathe, mill drill, grinding machine, CNC mill machines and deburring. Also required are honing and lapping, manual OD, experience with riveting and bearing swaging/flaring. This specific opening will focus on the CNC horizontal mill.Use a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test product.Regulating machining by utilizing machine instrumentation knowledge, including setting and adjusting controls.Using blueprints or design sketches and engineering specs to ensure proper dimensions and tolerance levels for the finished product.QualificationsExperience on CNC lathes a plus.Completion of formal apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.General run of machine shop operations, floor assembly, and usual shop maintenance.Previous experience in a hydro-mechanical and electronic manufacturing environment a plus.
