AJ Boggs is seeking an experienced CFO to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a growing company. This role is designed for a senior finance leader who has led organizations through scale, operational discipline, and investor-facing growth-and who is comfortable owning outcomes, not just advising.This is a fractional or part-time role with the potential to expand as the business grows.Role OverviewThe CFO will serve as the company's senior financial leader, partnering directly with executive leadership to strengthen financial systems, improve performance, and support sustainable growth. This role is expected to take ownership across finance, accounting, planning, and investor readiness.You will balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership, ensuring both financial rigor and long-term scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipOwn financial strategy aligned to company goals, including:~20% annual revenue growth~15% operating profitability~30% annual ROIAdvise executive leadership on business performance, capital allocation, and long-term growth decisionsTranslate financial data into clear insights for leadership and stakeholdersAccounting & Financial OperationsEnsure GAAP-aligned accounting and strong internal controlsEvaluate and improve existing accounting processes, systems, and workflowsPartner with internal or external accounting resources to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalabilityFinancial Planning, Budgeting & AnalysisLead annual budgeting and reforecasting processes across departmentsBuild and maintain short- and long-term financial models, forecasts, and scenario analysesEstablish disciplined planning processes that support informed decision-makingOperational Finance & Cost ManagementAnalyze operating costs, vendor spend, and resource allocationIdentify opportunities to improve margins, efficiency, and cash flowSupport pricing, cost structure, and profitability initiativesMetrics, Reporting & Performance ManagementDevelop and maintain KPIs and dashboards, including SaaS or recurring-revenue metrics where applicableProvide consistent, executive-level reporting on financial and operational performanceFundraising & Investor ReadinessLead financial preparation for fundraising, including:Financial narrativesInvestor materials and pitch decksDue diligence supportServe as a key financial voice with investors, lenders, or strategic partnersLeadership & MentorshipProvide leadership and mentorship to finance-related team members or partnersHelp shape scalable finance functions as the company growsExperience & Qualifications12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in growth-oriented companiesProven experience serving as CFO, VP of Finance, or senior finance leader with full ownership of financial strategyDemonstrated success improving financial systems, reporting, and cost structuresExperience with fundraising, investor relations, or capital strategyStrong financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking skillsBachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; MBA or CPA strongly preferredComfortable working hands-on while maintaining executive-level perspectiveEngagement Structure & CompensationFractional or part-time engagement, with an expected commitment to be finalized based on company needs and candidate availabilityContract or employment arrangements availableCompetitive compensation aligned with senior CFO-level responsibility, including:Hourly or monthly retainer (range to be discussed)Potential performance-based incentives and/or equity participation, depending on engagement structureFor more information, contact: info@/opportunities.
