Job Description

HOLT Truck Centers in Houston is looking for a full time New Truck Sales team member. A Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and acquiring new business opportunities. Their primary role is to ensure that the company's products or services meet client needs while also driving sales growth. They act as the bridge between the company and its clients, managing accounts, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the company's offerings.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clientsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any questions or concernsRegularly communicate with clients to understand their evolving needs and offer appropriate solutionsIdentify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to expand revenueDevelop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and business objectivesMonitor client satisfaction and ensure that services/products align with client expectationsDevelop personalized account plans that focus on customer retention and growthAddress and resolve any issues that might affect the client's relationship with the companyTrack and report on key metrics such as client retention rates, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and revenue growthWork closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfactionCoordinate with product and service teams to ensure that client's needs are met effectivelyPrepare and present tailored proposals and presentations to clientsNegotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company policies and client needsClose deals while ensuring mutual satisfaction for both the client and the companyMaintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress toward sales goalsProvide regular reports to management on account status, sales forecasts, and pipeline updatesAnalyze client data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and potential risksRequired Skills and Qualifications2 - 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related fieldStrong verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with clients and present solutionsAbility to handle client issues efficiently and find creative solutionsProven track record in sales or account management with a focus on meeting targetsFamiliarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking client interactions and salesComfort in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to close dealsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Industry knowledge of commercial trucks, construction, and municipal contractsDegree in business, marketing, or a related field Disclaimer:Please note that the above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
