Volunteer Coordinator Part-Time Evenings

Job Type Part-timeDescriptionVolunteer Coordinators help to keep things running smooth for volunteers and ministries that come to get food. A Volunteer Coordinator must have excellent customer service and people skills as they will interact with volunteers and ministries daily. Their main duty is to direct and explain all rules to volunteers when they come in for their shift and assign tasks to them. Besides coordinating volunteers, they will keep the floor stocked with plenty of items, as well as ensuring that everything looks clean and organized.Responsibilities:Keep the food selection area neat and organized and make sure our partner ministries and volunteers have a good variety to choose from.Coordinate volunteers, oversee their work in displaying items and assist them if needed.Keep floors clean.Answer any questions that our ministries partners may have.Requirements:Must work well with teammates and have a strong desire to get along with others.Need to able to work quickly and efficiently and handle some pressure when it gets busy.Operate forklift and pallet jacks (training provided)Lift up to 50 lbs.Be detail oriented and organized.Able to complete background check.Hours:This is a part-time position with hours being Thursday and Friday from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm One Saturday a month from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Our benefits for part-time employees include:An employee access card to select food at the Selection CenterA cohesive team environmentNotary on staff at no charge to employeesOpportunity for personal growth and professional advancement Click Here to Apply!
