Summer Internship 2026 - Accounting Intern

Job Summary: The Accounting Intern supports the Finance Department in their daily tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Duties/Responsibilities: Assists a variety of Finance & Accounting departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Payroll, and Staff Accounting, with daily functions. Conducts general clerical duties as required (typing, filing, meetings, etc.). Prepare memos, forms, and letters as needed. Assists with tracking and forecasting project budgets. Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings. Assists with filing, maintaining, and distributing accounting documents, records, and reports. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills required. Good interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with others. Ability to work independently and with a team Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical abilities.Education and Experience: College undergraduate pursuing Finance or Accounting. Must have completed the first year of the undergraduate program. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Physical Requirements: The physical demands described represent those an employee must successfully perform.
