Mechanical Engineer

Well respected Engineering Firm is hiring a Mechanical Engineer at its Orlando-Maitland, FL location. Position is responsible for project management, internal & external disciplinary coordination, as well as project design responsibilities, relating to commercial and healthcare building HVAC design and construction, including HVAC cooling/heating load calculations, sizing of ductwork/piping, HVAC unit sizing and equipment selection, including DX and chilled water equipment, pumps, and cooling towers. Requires BSME, plus 4-5 years' experience relevant to commercial and/or educational building design projects. All candidates will be expected to perform well in a team environment and provide effective written and verbal communication to department staff and other team members, and possess a good working knowledge of building modeling computer software IESVE, Revit and AutoCAD.
