We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, resolving discrepancies, and providing excellent internal and external customer support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational skills.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Process customer credit card payments and associated reportingReceive and process customer check paymentsPost all customer payments to accountsAnalyze deposit variances and make corrections as neededResearch and address credit card disputed transactionsProcess customer refunds and invoice credit requestsMonitor AR email group and forward as neededProcess request for COI, W-9, and electronic payment informationAnswer internal and external customers calls for information and assistanceAssist with monitoring sales tax transactions on Avalara platformPerform various reconciliationsPerform other related tasks as needed REQUIREMENTS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Excel Proficient in accounting software Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Ability to maintain confidential information Able to meet deadlines and have attention to detailEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum 1 year experience in accounting related tasksPHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
