The Florida Division is seeking an experienced Demolition Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support project success. * Review project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate estimates. * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits (some travel required) to assess job site conditions and project scope. * Interpret and analyze project specifications and drawings. * Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, equipment, and materials. * Identify project approach, resource requirements, and timelines for each estimate. * Calculate costs by analyzing labor, equipment, materials, and time requirements. * Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals. * Lead estimate turnover processes for successful bids and manage change orders as needed. * Document and evaluate historical cost data to inform future estimates. * Analyze and mitigate project risks in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. * Contribute to team goals by supporting related tasks as needed. * Utilize HCSS, Primavera, and Excel for estimating and project management tasks. Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of experience in demolition estimating or a related construction field. * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field preferred. * Proficiency with HCSS, Primavera, and Microsoft Excel. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
