Packing Positions 2nd shift Brown Summit, NC

**Purpose of Position:** · This position is to supervis production lines with inspecting bottles, hand stacking finished product on pallets, load raw material on the production lines (cardboard boxes, pills, and cartons). · This position is based out of the P&G facility in Greensboro, NC. · Associate must be flexible to report within 24 hours of callback. · Position is a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. **Key Responsibilities:** · Responsible for helping support multiple production lines. · Serve as a back up to other Light Industrial as needed for each line. · Responsible for inspecting product for defective packaging. · Responsible for verifying correct material. · Able to lift up to 20lbs. · Standing 8 hours · Responsible for loading pills in to hopper. · Other duties as assigned. **Relationships:** · Supervisors · Peers · Onsite Manager **Measures of Performance:** · Verifying material moving on conveyor belts. · Productivity · Adherence to work schedule and plant rules and conduct. · Quality and workmanship · Ability to operate in a team environment **Background and Skills:** · Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Ability to use basic math skills. · RTCIS user skills desired, but will train. · Experience with electric pallet jacks. · Ability to operate independently and in a team environment.
