Test Engineer I

Description:Tester **** ##### DO NOT EXCEED MAX AGENCY BILL RATE ##### Shift time 5:30 AM-2 PM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Set-up and conduct pressure, leak flow and electrical bench testing on a wide variety of parts, subassemblies and completed units. • Work from engineering specifications, sketches and test diagrams. • Make all plumbing and electrical connections required completing system set-up. • Connect products to be tested to test equipment. • Monitor gauges and meters. • Verify and record test results. • May determine reasons for malfunctioning components or improperly assembled units. • Confer with or refer major or critical problems or decisions to lead person and/or supervisor. • Complete and maintain proper reports and checklists. • Regular attendance required. The employee may be required to work beyond normal working hours from time to time as the workload dictates • Continuous improvement efforts required. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
