Our diverse list of products and services allows variety and different challenges every day at Customer's sites while providing solutions to keep them safe and efficient.Due to our continued expansion and growth, we now have an opportunity for a full-time Safety Coordinator for our Dallas Fort Worth, TX location . This role may also be based out of any of our Central, Mideast or Southeast Service Center locations. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of safety practices across the organization by updating and maintaining safety policies and planning safety training and compliance programs.Required Skills & Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully fulfil the essential requirements of this job.Review and update safety policies and procedures as needed to ensure compliance and effectivenessPurposefully monitor, correct and educate the workforce on issues relating to workplace health and safetyMonitor, collect and organize safety records for all service center locationsWork closely with management to develop site specific or service specific training procedures and ensure training of applicable employees is completed to maintain compliance and best practice standardsPlan and coordinate monthly safety training sessions with input and direction from managementAssist in conducting root cause investigations for safety incidents and recommend corrective actionsKeep detailed records of safety-related incidents and propose appropriate corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrenceWork with insurance carriers to process vehicle accident claims.RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum years of experience, product, or industry knowledge plus any certifications to be considered.Experience in reporting safety metrics and developing safety policies and procedures, is a plusExperience in designing, implementing, and delivering OSHA training programs preferredExperience with compliance sites, like ISN and Avetta, is a plusMust be able to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceBachelor of Arts in related field or equivalent years' experience.Strong focus on accuracy and precisionExcellent at analyzing data and identifying key trendsCollaborative team player with a proven ability to build strong, effective relationshipsExperienced in setting clear expectationsProficiency in MS OfficeInternal knowledge of the industry/company may replace some of the direct experience requirementsMust be able to lift up to 15lbsMust be available to travel 20%Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances. This position maybe based out of our Dallas, TX location or out of any of our central, Mideast or Southeast Service Center locations.Noise level is moderate in an office environment.Salary Description $60,000 - $75,000
