About the RoleWe are seeking a high-impact General Manager to join our team. This is a unique succession opportunity offering hands-on mentorship from our long-tenured GM while helping lead a major operational turnaround and scale the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations across production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and EHSPartner with the current GM to learn the business and prepare for successionDrive improvements in run time, scrap, throughput, and backlogLead commissioning and optimization of a new paint lineOwn full P&L and execute strategies to scale the businessIdentify cost, efficiency, and margin improvement opportunitiesBuild KPIs that drive accountabilityLead and develop managers; support headcount growth from ~90 to 130-140Strengthen communication and alignment across all shiftsImplement process controls, standard work, and continuous improvement practicesQualificationsRequired:Leadership experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentStrong P&L ownership and business acumenProven success driving operational turnarounds or major performance gainsExperience managing multidisciplinary teamsAbility to build trust and drive results at all levelsPreferred:Background in continuous manufacturingExperience commissioning or optimizing production linesLean/CI certifications or demonstrated CI expertiseWho Thrives HereA driver with strong operational disciplineHands-on, people-centric, and highly process-orientedMotivated by challenge, change, and building stronger systems
