We are seeking a Truancy Mentor to work within Check & Connect, an evidence-based program focused on preventing truancy and keeping students engaged in their education. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding students back on the path to success.What You'll DoAs a Truancy Mentor, you will: Work directly with students to encourage school attendance and engagement. Monitor attendance and follow up with students and families to address concerns. Collaborate with school staff and community partners to develop effective intervention strategies. Serve as a mentor, advocate, and service coordinator to help students overcome challenges. Conduct home visits to stay connected with families and provide ongoing support. Why Work with PCS?
