This team member will coordinate daily with the plant manager on repairs needed and develop a priority list of tasks to be performed. Present important findings and future repairs that need to be scheduled to the plant manager. Help maintain inventory control, this includes documentation of parts distribution and needed inventory. Communicate with plant operators on needed repairs and report to plant manager so a schedule can be compiled.Essential duties and responsibilities: Ensure safety, this position has the most exposure to plant personnel. Be the eyes and ears and promote safetyEmergency support team, on call as needed for plant repairsChange crusher blow bars, wear plates, belting and screensRoutine PM services on all units based on hour intervalsWinter maintenance support team member, perform needed repairs with thorough analysis and complete repairs in a timely mannerParts inventory management, keep detailed records of depletion and needed inventory. Reporting this information to plant manager and assistant production managerPresent process improvements to management team. Document failure findings through root cause analysis and suggest any improvements to extend life or decrease failure rateOrganize and rebuild bone yard equipment for future use.
