Job Title: CAD Designer / Drafter IICompensation: $55/hour + Vehicle ProvidedLocation: Carlsbad, NMSchedule: 5/2Interview Process: Zoom InterviewsPosition OverviewThe CAD Designer / Drafter II supports engineering and operations teams by preparing and modifying technical drawings and documentation. This role focuses on processing redlines, updating drawings, and coordinating with document control to ensure accurate and timely updates to engineering documentation.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oil & Gas drafting environments and be comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process redline markups from engineering and field teams.Modify and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.Prepare finalized drawings and documentation for submission to the Document Control team.Maintain drawing accuracy and ensure revisions follow established standards and procedures.Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and suppliers to ensure design updates are captured correctly.Support ongoing updates to engineering documentation and drawing packages.Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong AutoCAD drafting experienceProficiency with Bluebeam for markups and document reviewExperience processing redlines and drawing revisionsFamiliarity with document control processes and engineering documentation standardsIndustry ExperienceOil & Gas industry experience requiredExperience supporting engineering or operations teamsAdditional SkillsStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with suppliers and internal teamsDetail-oriented with strong document accuracy and revision control
